Seller account

Only sellers need to create an account before selling. Go to elyonpay.com, click "Create an account", and fill in your personal and business information. Verification takes less than 24 hours. For buyers, the account is created during the purchase process.
To validate your seller account, you must provide:
  • A valid identity document (national ID card or passport)
  • Proof of address less than 3 months old
  • For businesses: an extract from the trade register (RCCM or equivalent)
These documents are processed securely and confidentially.
Yes, registration is completely free. There are no fixed fees, no mandatory monthly subscription. ElyonPay earns only on completed transactions. See our Pricing page for the detailed fee breakdown by transaction type.
ElyonPay is currently available in Cameroon, CΓ΄te d'Ivoire, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Congo, DRC, Ghana, Nigeria, France, Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom and continuously expanding.
Yes. One ElyonPay seller account can manage multiple business activities. From your dashboard, you can create and manage multiple stores with separate catalogues and payment configurations.

Payment & Collection

ElyonPay accepts all major payment methods:
  • Mobile Money: MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Wave, Moov Money, Airtel Money
  • Bank card: Visa, Mastercard (with 3D Secure)
  • Bank transfer: SEPA (Europe) and international
In 16 currencies with real-time automatic conversion.
ElyonPay does not hold merchants' revenue. Mobile money payments are credited to the seller's account instantly. Visa/Mastercard card payments are credited according to international financial network timelines. Bank transfers are credited instantly in the EURO zone and within 24 to 72 hours in other countries.

Yes. ElyonPay supports 16 currencies including XAF, XOF, EUR, USD, GBP, GHS, NGN and many more. Currency conversion is performed automatically in real time at the market rate.
Request to Pay lets you send a secure payment link to your customers remotely β€” by SMS, WhatsApp or email. The customer clicks the link, chooses their payment method and pays in seconds. Ideal for diaspora communities paying remotely for their relatives in Africa.

Marketplace & Online Store

After creating and validating your seller account, you can create your online store from your dashboard. Add your products (photos, descriptions, prices), configure your payment methods and your store is ready in minutes. No technical skills required.
Yes. ElyonPay supports the sale of physical products (with stock management) and digital products (downloadable files, access, licences).
Yes. Via our REST API, you can integrate ElyonPay payment features into any website or application. SDKs are available for JavaScript, PHP and Python. See our technical documentation to get started.

API & Integration

Yes. The ElyonPay REST API is available for Business and Enterprise plans. Full documentation is available at docs.elyonpay.com, with SDKs for JavaScript, PHP and Python, and a sandbox environment for testing.
Your API key is available in your seller dashboard under "Settings > API". If you don't have an account yet, contact our team for support with your integration.
Yes. A full sandbox environment is available to test your integration without real transactions. It simulates all payment types (Mobile Money, card, transfer) and various response scenarios (success, failure, timeout).

Security & Compliance

Yes. ElyonPay is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant (the highest level) for processing card data. We never store your card data in plain text. All transactions are encrypted with SSL 256-bit and sensitive data is tokenised.
Yes. ElyonPay Global Technologies SAS operates under the supervision of the relevant financial regulators in each country of operation (BEAC/COBAC in Central Africa, BCEAO in West Africa, ACPR in France). See our Compliance page for details.
